Working bee on Sunday 30 September near Verdun St Playground
We had a small but efficient working bee planting an area behind the fence alongside the playground in Verdun Street on Sunday 30th September.
Peter Campbell was the event organiser.

FSSP 2024 Working Bee Program South Surrey Park runs along Back Creek between Riversdale and Union Roads, north of Through Road. The Friends of South Surrey Park revegetate and maintain this biodiversity corridor. Improving the park through planting indigenous species, weeding and removing litter has turned this area into an urban bushland enjoyed by people of all ages. Regular Working Bees : 10.00am-12.00pm · Tuesday mornings: weeding, mulching First 2024 working bee: 6 th February. · Last Sunday of the month: planting in the cooler month, weeding, “tidying up” the park. 2024 Sunday Dates : 28 th April, 26 th May (planting), 30 th June (planting), 28 th July (planting), 25 th August, 29 th September, 27 th October, 24 th November.
