FSSP 2024 Working Bee Program
South Surrey Park runs along Back Creek between Riversdale and Union Roads, north of Through Road. The Friends of South Surrey Park revegetate and maintain this biodiversity corridor. Improving the park through planting indigenous species, weeding and removing litter has turned this area into an urban bushland enjoyed by people of all ages.
Regular Working Bees: 10.00am-12.00pm
· Tuesday mornings: weeding, mulching
First 2024 working bee: 6th February.
· Last Sunday of the month: planting in the cooler month, weeding, “tidying up” the park.
2024 Sunday Dates: 28thApril, 26th May (planting), 30th June (planting), 28th July (planting), 25th August, 29th September, 27th October, 24th November.

All tools are provided but it is advised to have your own gardening gloves, wear suitable clothing for gardening and closed toe shoes. There is no drinking water available on site.
